Silver for Peacock

Hamish Peacock has won SILVER at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games!

Hamish threw a huge 82.59m in the fourth round to secure his place on the podium. This is Hamish's second Commonwealth Games medal, winning Bronze at the Glasgow 2014 Games.

Hamish produced an outstanding series of throws in the Final, throwing two beyond the 80m mark. The event was taken out by India's Neeraj Chopra with 86.47m with Granada's Anderson Peters third (82.20m).

Congratulations to both Hamish and to coach Evan Peacock, what a fantastic way to end the season.
